A burst water main is causing disruption on the A96 and affecting the water supply at Elgin homes.
The burst main, on the A96 through Elgin, outside the town’s post office, was first discovered on Wednesday night.
Traffic lights were set up last night and remain in place this morning as Scottish Water teams work on repairs.
The Scottish Water website states that teams are “currently repairing a burst main affecting customer supply in Elgin IV30”.
“Apologies to customers who may be affected by the loss of supply in IV30, Elgin,” the website adds.
“Supplies have been restored to the majority of our customers, however we have a delay in the repair and our team will return to site first thing this morning.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding while we undertake this repair.”
